At the age of 74, Bruce Springsteen has returned to the pristine scripts amid health issues that have surfaced around the world.

The musician and the E-Street Band performed “Lonesome Day” at the start of their Arizona recital.

The 74-year-old Springsteen announced this in September it will gradually return until 2024referring to a doctor’s advice in recovering from one Peptic ulcer.

“The Boss” acted out the script to the audience’s chorus of “¡Bruuuuuuce!”. In dark jeans and a red flannel shirt with her legs together, she held her own the energy of a man with the heart of his life.

His signature “one, two, three, four” was the only one that separated most songs, without signs of your illness from the previous year. As he shouted “Good Nights, Arizona,” the show can be played on the fly.

Springsteen spoke briefly to the public about his illness before you touch the last track “I’ll See You In My Dreams” alone over the script. “Phoenix, first I want you to explain if there is any harassment because we want to move the show one last time. . . . I hope we never want to be bothered.”

The performance of 29 songs lasted just under three hoursBut “The Boss” could only hear the gala of his powerful voice as he danced, battled guitar solos, played the harmonica and even unbuttoned his shirt in search of the show’s finale.

In the script with Springsteen, he was there the legendary E Street Band, consisting of drummer Max Weinberg, bassist Garry Tallent, technicians Roy Bittan and Charlie Giordano, guitarists Stevie Van Zandt and Nils Lofgren, saxophonist Jake Clemons – underdog to saxophonist Clarence Clemons who failed in 2011 -, guitarist and violinist Soozie Tyrell, full section music and metal and four backing singers. The only band member who dropped out was Springsteen’s girlfriend, a singer and guitarist Patti Scialfa.

Springsteen played most of the highlights of his extensive collectionless “Born in the USA” but added versions “Night shift” of the Commodores, “Because the Night” de Patti Smith Group and surprise: “Twist and Shout” by The Beatles.

Two days after his death, Springsteen performed at the MusiCares 2024 Person of the Year Homecoming Event Jon Bon Jovi for his musical achievements and his philanthropic efforts.

The 2024 edition of the tour kicks off in Phoenix and ends on November 22nd in Vancouver (Canada). It will lead you astray 17 countries in 52 countriesincluding a special appearance on September 15 when Springsteen performs at the Sea.Hear.Now festival in his hometown of Asbury Park, New Jersey.
